The Importance of Training
Whether you're an inexperienced official or a veteran, training should be a consistent part of your officiating regimen. The fact is that good officials seek new information constantly. Here, you will find helpful resources to improve your game; but there are many other resources online and in person that you should be taking advantage of if you want to become a good official.
There will be on the floor training opportunities on October 16 and 23, 2023 at Boles ISD. 9777 FM 2101, Quinlan, TX. 75474. The training will take place in one of the gyms at that location. Please check in inside the Foyer of the game gym located on the south side of the campus. The foyer is on the west side of the gym. Trainings will also take place as needed one hour before the regularly scheduled chapter meetings.

Video
Breaking down video of yourself officiating is probably the best way to improve. The better you are at breaking down tape, the better your training will get.
Self Awareness & Critique
You must be willing to take criticism and be honest with yourself if you're going to get better. Constantly ask yourself, a mentor, or a fellow official how you can improve.
